Chuck Longworth Wins First Place in Photo Contest.
Out of over 17,000 entries, Photographer Chuck Longworth won first place in an online photography contest that was sponsored by BetterPhoto.com.
The gorgeous picture, called “Red Barn,” features a red barn highlighted against a cloudy bronze sky. The entry in the Digital Darkroom Category for March can be viewed along with other monthly winners on BetterPhoto.com’s contest page: Contest Winners
Or go directly to Longworth’s winning photo here: Red Barn
You can see other works by Chuck Longworth on his web site: Longworth
My favorite is his photo of “Dawby.” However, I also really like pictures of old buildings and doors–things Chuck features in several of his photos.

You are being too modest, Chuck. It was a lovely photo no matter how many entries and you deserved to win if there were 10 people or 17,000 competing against you.
Thanks for running the story on the Red Barn photo. It was chosen as the winner of the Digital Darkroom section of the contest for March. To be honest, I`m not sure if the seventeen thousand enteries were for the darkroom section or the entire contest.
