Plain City Farmers Market Starts July 4!

The Plain City Farmers Market will have a special start date on Friday, July 4. For one Friday only, to coincide with the Fourth of July Parade in uptown Plain City, the Farmers Market will run from 11 am to 1 pm on Independence Day.

Sponsored by The Uptown Plain City Organization (UPCO), the Farmers Market will take place every Thursday (beginning on July 10) after July 4th from 4:30-7 pm through October 2.

The Farmers Market is held at the corner of South Chillicothe and State Route 161 in Uptown Plain City (next to the Clock Tower building).

There will be music and lots of local vendors each week with “learn-and-taste” features.

You can also win a bag of vendor items by entering a drawing at the Farmers Market. You do not need to be present to win, but you’d better pick up your goodie bag quickly if you do win–there are lots of fresh items in it!

Please shop locally and support our Plain City and Union/Madison County farmers by stopping by the Farmers Market.

If you would like to set up at the Farmers Market, please contact Chris Long at 614-873-4912, ext. 23 or clong@plaincitylib.org

Additionally, Marysville is holding their Farmers Markets on Saturdays through October 18 in the City Parking Lot at the corner of Plum and 6th Streets. For more information, call 937-644-8530.

On Saturday, August 9 from 8 am to 1 pm, a Farmers Market Festival will be held in the same location as the regular Farmers Market in Marysville (corner of Plum and 6th Streets).
