Shekinah Festival is September 12 and 13.

The Shekinah Festival and Auction will take place on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13. The featured entertainment Friday evening will be Live Past Life, a Christian band from Middletown, Ohio. The band was formed seven years ago by a husband and wife team. Together, the band has performed all over the east coast. The entertainment will begin at 7:30 pm. Admission is FREE to this concert, but a goodwill offering will be taken.

From 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Friday the 12th, enjoy a pulled pork dinner provided by Todd and Becky Troyer, as well as homemade ice cream. There will also be a silent auction throughout the evening and a hot air balloon lift off before sunset.

The rest of the Shekinah Festival gets underway at sunrise on Saturday the 13th with hot air balloon rides and breakfast beginning at 7 am. Sausage sandwiches, coffee, and donuts will be some of the mouth watering breakfast items available. As always, there will also be lots of other food, activities for children, and many homemade items for sale. New this year is a Zip Line! The much anticipated auction gets started at 10 am with the furniture and crafts portion. The hand-quilted quilts will be auctioned at 1 pm.

This is the 35th year for “The Biggest Little Festival in Ohio,” which is the main way Shekinah Christian School raises money to keep their tuition rates affordable. Please stop by and support them. The Shekinah Festival takes place at the Shekinah Christian School located at 10040 Lafayette-Plain City Road, just outside of Plain City.
