Happy First Day Back on Campus for Our Ohio State Students.
We want to wish our Ohio State College of Pharmacy students, Tayler, Jessica, Chris, Vivian, Emily, Maggie, and Tom a great first day of classes on August 22.
Chris, Vivian, and Emily work at Happy Druggist on Karl Road, while Tayler, Jessica, and Tom are the friendly faces that greet you in Plain City. Maggie works at Happy Druggist in West Jefferson.
Sadly, with the start of the semester, you probably won’t be seeing our loyal and devoted students in the drugstore except on Saturdays. Jessica and Chris are starting their third year of pharmacy school. Tom, Vivian, and Maggie are entering their second year. Emily is just starting her first year of pharmacy school.
Our fourth year student, Tayler, is off doing rotations with other pharmacies until graduation next May, so this really isn’t a back to school day for him.
Haley Green who works in West Jefferson will also be starting her first year of pharmacy school at Ohio Northern University on August 21.
We are also very proud to announce that L.P., Lauren Pullins, is doing her teaching rotation at West Jefferson schools this autumn before graduating from Ohio Dominican University. L. P. has been a lifesaver over the past year at Happy Druggist in West Jefferson and we don’t know what we would have done without her. We are going to miss her so much that we may have to go sit in some of her classes and harass her with silly questions.
We hope all of our students will have a wonderful autumn semester and a super school year in 2017-2018. We are very proud of all of you!

Happy First Day of School on August 16 and August 17!
We want to wish all the area Jonathan Alder students, staff, and teachers a happy first day of school on August 16!
Fairbanks will get started just one day later on August 17. Enjoy one last day of sleeping in while the Jonathan Alder students are already in classes.
We remember what that first day was like–the smell of new shoes, a clean school building, and fresh sheets of paper. Excitement over seeing friends you had not seen in several weeks and worries about the challenges of trigonometry, Shakespearean tragedies, and hundreds of other facts that needed shoved in a brain a bit sluggish from summer vacation.
Enjoy each day as if it were the first!
Have a super first day and a wonderful 2017-2018 school year.
