We are very lucky to have a student pharmacist from The Ohio State University with us for the month of February. Meet Ashley Sullivan who lives very close by in London.

Here is what Ashley has to say about herself:

Hello! My name is Ashley Sullivan and I’m a fourth year pharmacy student at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. I graduate in just a couple of months!

I’m very excited for this opportunity to work at Plain City Druggist during February.

I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. I completed my undergraduate degree double majoring in Pre-Professional and Equine Studies at Saint Mary of the Woods College. It is a small, Catholic college in Indiana.

I moved to Hilliard in 2012 to attend pharmacy school at OSU. I currently live in London and I hope to stay in the area.

I love Columbus for many reasons, but two of my favorite things about living here are the horse industry and the pharmacy network. There are many opportunities both in pharmacy and in the equine world, which brought me to Columbus and will hopefully keep me here!

My husband and I run a small quarter horse farm in London and we’re looking to expand and find a bigger location. We are active members in Madison County Ohio Horseman’s Council and we spend most of our free time at horse shows or on the trails. We also offer horse training and riding lessons.

I also provide 4H clinics and I am actively pursuing my horse show judging card. I enjoy being an active part of my community and interacting with others both in horses and in pharmacy. I plan to stay in community pharmacy and hope to continue working in independent pharmacy.
