ASE Feed and Supply will be throwing a customer appreciation breakfast celebration on Saturday, April 20 from 8 am to 2 pm.

Ken Jewell and his wife, Teresa, purchased the feed store and mill in 2001 and renamed it ASE in honor of their three daughters–Amy, Stacy, and Emily. They have been serving the Plain City community for eighteen years!

If you stop by on April 20, you can get a free pancake breakfast from 8 am to 1 pm. The Plain City Lions Club will be in charge of the pancake breakfast and those Lions know how to make pancakes.

There will also be a 10 percent discount on all pre-packaged feed and supplies (cannot be combined with other discounts). Additionally, get $5 off all bags of Tribute Horse Feed (limit 10 bags per customer and you must pay at the time of purchase–no placing on account). There will be lots of other discounts and deals, too. So please stop by.

The customer appreciation event ends at 2 pm when the store closes.

ASE Feed and Supply is located at 211 S. Jefferson Avenue (Route 42) in Plain City (they are across the street from McDonald’s). For more information, including hours of operation, products and services, visit their web site HERE.

The Dog Days of Summer. Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, August 28. By Our August Student Pharmacist, Kevin Chang.

In my last blog posting, we talked about how to manage alcohol with your medications. From that posting, we now know that you have to be very careful when mixing your medicine with alcoholic beverages.

But what about medicine and hot dogs?

Good news ladies and gentlemen! You can get hot dogs as you pick up your medicine at the end of the month–and have no ill side effects–unless you eat too many and end up with a tummy ache!!

On Friday, August 28, here at Plain City Druggist, we are hosting our customer appreciation day, “The Dog Days of Summer.

Here is some information on the events happening that day:

  • Free hot dog giveaway: From 11 AM to 3 PM, all customers visiting our pharmacy will receive a free hot dog. Eat it yourself or give it to your dog buddy.
  • Free doggie bags: Customers who have loyal canine friends visiting the pharmacy will receive a free doggie bag for their dogs. You can even bring your dog passengers to the drive-through!
  • “Pick your breed”: Customers purchasing any over-the-counter products can participate in this game for a chance to win free prizes or discounts on their purchase.

Stop in and see us with your dog companions and get a hot dog for them or for you! It’s our way of surviving the Dog Days of Summer and thanking you for being such Loyal customers.

We Appreciate YOU! Stop By for Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, June 19.

On Friday, June 19, stop in all day long, so we can sing your praises!

We are so thankful for all of our customers and we want to take the time to let you know just how GREAT you are! Come in on Customer Appreciation Day and win prizes, get discounts, and have lots of fun (as usual)!

As you arrive to shop, one of the staff will place a lovely Hawaiian lei around your neck to make you feel like you’re on vacation and ready to have a good time–at the pharmacy–that’s the way we always want you to feel around us.

When it’s time to check out with your purchases, grab a paper drink umbrella from the giant exotic drink Phoebe will have at the register and find out what discount you’ll receive–5, 10, or even 25 percent off (just so you know–discounts can’t be applied to co-pays–but you can stock up on lots of other goodies out front)!

You can also check out all our staff who will be sporting beach wear–no bikinis (unless Greg gets really wild!), but there will be some cool Hawaiian shirts and a pair or two of flip flops (if Joe relaxes his no open-toed shoes policy for the day!).

We’ll also be honoring all the dads who visit, just in time for Father’s Day, with a free bungee cord! Phoebe also says we can tie the bungee cords around those dads and yank them back in the store if they ever try to go anywhere else!!

So please stop in on June 19, get some goodies, have some fun, and let us say THANK YOU!

ASE Feed and Supply will be throwing a customer appreciation breakfast celebration on Saturday, April 25. Ken Jewell and his wife, Teresa, purchased the feed store and mill in 2001 and renamed it ASE in honor of their three daughters–Amy, Stacy, and Emily. They have been serving the Plain City community for fourteen years!

If you stop by on April 25, you can get a pancake breakfast from 8 am to 1 pm. There will also be a 10 percent discount on anything purchased inside the main store, including all bird seed and all pet food. Additionally, you can register in a drawing to win 1 year of FREE Blue Buffalo dog food. Get $5 off all bags of Tribute Feed (limit 10 bags per customer and you must pay at the time of purchase–no placing on account).

The customer appreciation event ends at 2 pm when the store closes.

I have to thank Ken and everyone at ASE for supporting Black and Orange Cat Foundation for the past seven years (or more). Carol Gaul helped Ken get the feral cats that were living around the mill and shop fixed and vaccinated. These cats kept the mice under control around the mill, but also tended to cross the street to the Gaul’s shop and often met unhappy fates on the road. After being fixed, they didn’t wander so much and Carol stopped worrying about them. Ken was also very glad to have the cats around.

Ken kindly donates food to Black and Orange every month, which we then distribute to people in need. We cannot thank Ken and ASE enough for all their generosity.
