Pleasant Valley Senior Center Selling Hand Made Mennonite Quilts to Raise Money for a New Television.

Many of you may have noticed the gorgeous hand made quilts we are currently displaying in the window of the pharmacy. The Pleasant Valley Senior Center recently lost their older television when it suddenly quit working. In order to raise money to purchase a new television, the Mennonite ladies at the Senior Center donated four quilts they had sewn to sell.  These quilts feature patterns such as “Bow Tie,” “Log Cabin,” “Wedding Ring,” and “Flower.” The quilts come in different sizes and are completely hand made, one of a kind creations, that were finished with a lot of love.

If you are interested in purchasing one of the quilts, which range in price from $100-$300, please contact Eleanor Obert, the activity director, at 614-873-8870. You can also get a closer look at the quilts by stopping in the pharmacy. We’ll take them out of the window so you can unfold them and sneak a peek at the excellent workmanship.

Please help the seniors get a new television! And if you don’t need a quilt, but would like to make a donation to help toward the television purchase, you can also give a donation to Eleanor (or us–we’ll pass the money along) for that purpose.
