We have a third year pharmacy student with us from The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy. Please welcome Karlis Abuls when you see him over the next few months.

Here is what Karlis tells us about himself.

Hello! My name is Karlis Abuls and I’m a current P3 (third year) student at The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy.

I’m currently on rotation with Kristie Holliday at Happy Druggist Pharmacy on Karl Road.

I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and moved to Columbus in 2013 to complete my undergraduate degree at Ohio State. I studied pharmaceutical sciences and decided to stay in central Ohio for a few more years to complete my PharmD degree.

After graduation in May of 2021, I hope to pursue a residency position and eventually work in either primary care or in a hospital as a cardiology clinical pharmacy specialist. I’m looking forward to spending time at Happy Druggist and interacting with our patients over the next few months!
