This is just a reminder about several things going on around Plain City this week and in the coming weeks. 

First off, the Plain City Historical Society will have their monthly meeting tonight, Tuesday, January 25, at 7 pm at 111 West Main Street. The program for January is “Moments in Time” by Jane Isaacs, the Pubic Services Librarian at the Plain City Public Library. Jane is always an interesting speaker, so it should be a delightful evening. 

Speaking of the Plain City Public Library, they have several winter programs to keep your brain “fired up” even if the days are cold.

The Knitting Circle meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Library. You are encouraged to bring current projects. The next Knitting Circle meeting is Tuesday, February 1. 

Additionally, a CareerShop Workshop will meet next Monday, January 31, at 6:30 pm at the Library.

The Library is also collecting Legos for a Lego Club that will begin in the spring. Drop off your Legos at the library any time they are open!

The Plain City Business Association will have their monthly meeting Wednesday, January 26, at 8:00 am at the Der Dutchman restaurant. Meetings in “odd” months are at the Der Dutchman, while meetings in “even” months are at the Dutch Kitchen restaurant. Next month’s February meeting will be at Dutch Kitchen. Stop out and get involved in the Plain City community.
