Plain City Lions Club Presents Checks to Plain City Food Pantry and the Plain City Public Library.

The Plain City Lions Club recently presented checks to the Plain City Food Pantry and the Plain City Public Library to assist them with the important work they do within our community.

Lion Treasurer Harley Bodenbender presented a $3,000 check to Jane Berry, Food Bank Director, on behalf of the Plain City Food Pantry. Also present in the photo, from left to right, are Ron Gall, Mike Preston, Tammy Kuhn, Ed Keefer, John Dellinger, Sandy Koester, L. T. Preston, and Ray Meister, President of the Fellowship of Praise.

Lions Club President, Shannon Foust, presented a check for $1,000 to Library Director, Chris Long.

The Plain City Lions Club does a lot of good within the Village and we are very thankful to have them working for our community!

The Plain City Lions Club is always seeking new members. Please contact President Shannon Foust if you are interested and would like more information about what the Club does. The Club meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month at 7 pm in the basement of the Plain City Presbyterian Church. A home cooked meal is provided with each meeting thanks to the generosity of Judy Bodenbender and Judy Weeks. The Club also tries to have an interesting speaker or program on the schedule for each meeting.

If you’d like to be Joe’s guest at the next Lions Club meeting to find out what the Club is about, stop in the pharmacy and ask him if you can tag along. He’d be happy to take you.
