Plain City Historical Society’s Annual Meeting will Feature Steven Branam of “The Appleseed Project.”

On Tuesday, June 27, join the Plain City Historical Society for an evening with Speaker Steven Branam of “The Appleseed Project” at Der Dutchman restaurant. The program by Mr. Branam, called “Three Strikes of the Match,” will tell the real story of April 19, 1775 when Paul Revere made his famous ride and The American Revolution began.

Social hour and registration will get under way at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.

The cost for this entertaining event is $20 per person, which includes dinner, dessert, drink, your gratuity, and, of course, a lot of fun.

Plain City Historical Society’s Annual Dinner on June 28 will Feature Buffalo Bill Cody.

On Tuesday, June 28, join the Plain City Historical Society for an evening with Buffalo Bill Cody at Der Dutchman restaurant.

Social hour and registration will get under way at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.

The cost for this entertaining event is $20 per person (even though the form below says $18), which includes dinner, dessert, drink, your gratuity, and, of course, a lot of fun.

Plain City Memorial Day Activities on Monday, May 30.

The Plain City Memorial Day Celebration will start with a parade at 9 am beginning at the Old Plain City Elementary School.

The Ceremony at Forest Grove Cemetery begins at 10 am. Music will be provided by the Jonathan Alder Band.

Darby Township Cemetery tours will take place from 1-4 pm, sponsored by the Plain City Historical Society.

Plain City Historical Society Banquet on June 23 will Feature Mark Twain.

Mark Twain at PC Historical Society dinner

On Tuesday, June 23, join the Plain City Historical Society for an evening with Mark Twain at Der Dutchman restaurant. Social hour and registration will get under way at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.

Lincoln Historian will Speak at the Plain City Historical Society Meeting on May 26.

Join the Plain City Historical Society at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 26 at 7 pm at 111 West Main Street in Plain City for Lincoln historian, John Ward, from Columbus.

Mr. Ward will be speaking and sharing Lincoln memorabilia.
