Rendition will Perform at the Choctaw Lakes Summer Music Series on Saturday, July 20 at 7 pm.

The band Rendition will host the Choctaw Lakes Summer Concert Series on Saturday, July 20 beginning at 7 pm. The concert will last until 10 pm and will take place on the lawn beside the Lake Choctaw Lodge.
Rendition is a fourteen member classic rock band with a brass and rhythm section and features our friend and fellow pharmacist, Ernie Sparks, on the drums. Ernie owns Ernie’s Pharmacy in London, Ohio. You can visit the pharmacy Facebook page HERE.
Ernie wants a big crowd for this event which the pharmacy is sponsoring. So bring chairs or a blanket and enjoy some nostalgic tunes by the Lake.
You don’t have to live at the Lake to attend this FREE concert. Everyone is invited and Ernie hopes lots of people will rock with him and the band.

Worried about getting hungry during the concert? There is usually an ice cream truck and a barbecue truck in the parking lot next to the Lake Choctaw Lodge where the event takes place. Additionally, there is a pizza shop just down the street from the Lodge. People also bring coolers and picnics to eat on the grass.

Raise Money for Black and Orange Thanks to Our Friend and Drummer Extraordinaire, Ernie Sparks, and Dance to The Tommy Wade Orchestra!

On Saturday, March 30 beginning at 7 pm (and lasting until about 11 pm) at The Aladdin Shrine Center, 3850 Stelzer Road (near Morse Road) in Columbus, you can dance to the music of The Tommy Wade Orchestra and raise money to help Black and Orange Cat Foundation in their mission to spay and neuter area cats.
The featured music will include the classics, standards, and contemporary music made popular by Big Bands of yesteryear. There will also be current arrangements for fans who love powerful performances from a full dance and jazz orchestra. Additionally, there will be vocal renditions from Carl Wyatt and Heidi Turner. Carl Wyatt and The Rendition Classic Rock Band will be performing for each Big Band intermission for thirty minutes. They will be playing music from the 50′s through the 70′s for all the classic rock fans.
A snack bar and two full beverage bars will be provided. Prices are $15 per person.
Any tickets purchased from Ernie Sparks, our drummer friend at Ernie’s Medicine Shoppe in London, or from us at the drugstore will benefit Black and Orange Cat Foundation. Black and Orange gets to keep all of the proceeds from tickets sold by us or Ernie–that means the $15 from your ticket goes directly to help cats in need.
Your ticket will say “Ernie Sparks” on it, so that the bands can keep track of how many tickets were sold by each person participating in the event. Ernie will be playing drums during the evening.
